Moved to Hoppers a few months ago, been looking for a decent fish and chip shop. Low and behold Kookaburra ave fish and chip shop is now my go to for said food. Usally buy 2 pieces of flake because they are always so small, got home and was blown away they serve you an actual piece of fish not just a mouth sized morsel and it tastes fantastic. Prawns in batter that taste fresh and are delicious compared to the pieces of rubber that most shops pass off. And finally the service is so friendly and fast.

This would have to be one of the best fish and chip shops I've been too. My 2 sons refused to eat battered fish since day one. Now in their 20s I convinced them to try Kookaburra's, as one them said, "if you told me 2 weeks ago I'd be eating battered fish and wanting more I would've said you're mad. You need to give it a go.

A great suburban chip shop and unlike some other stores they use real potato's rather than the pre-made food service versions. The only suggestion would be the store signage could be a little clearer, I drove past the place a couple of times before I realised it was there.

Probably the best fish and chip shop burgers I’ve ever tried. I’ve been to so many closer to home but they cannot compare to kookaburra ave’s burgers! I always get either the burger with the lot or the schnitzel burger! They also come in packs for $12! You get a serve of chips & a drink! Awesome deal and worth every dollar & the drive! Me and my family don’t get burgers from any other fish and chip shop now.
